Igbechi Goodluck Onyenwelike (born 8 May 1995), known professionally as DJ Luckystar is a Nigerian disc jockey and record producer. Luckystar broke into the mixtape market in Port Harcourt in 2014. He has since gained prominence as a DJ in Nigeria and has released chart-topping songs with many Nigerian music stars.
DJ Luckystar Childhood
DJ Luckystar was born in Ubarama Town Ahoada West, Nigeria on May 8, 1995. He is originally from Ahoada West in Rivers state. He was brought up in Port Harcourt where he completed his elementary and secondary school.
He gained prominence after releasing the mixtape titled “Naira Marley Vs Zlatan Ibile Kpa Kpa Kpa” which was a combination of songs in the country at the time.
DJ Luckystar Music Career
DJ Luckystar started his career as a Computer Engineer but later picked interest in being a Disc Jockey.
He started his journey as a DJ in 2014, he came into the limelight after his “Naira Marley Vs Zlatan Ibile Kpa Kpa Kpa” mixtape broke into the mixtape market in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and some parts of the world.
He has so far released over 5,000 CD Mixtape, over 5 online released mixtapes, and released multiple music and visuals with Nigerian and African artists.
Luckystar released his debut single in 2018 titled “African Dance” featuring Bob Dicko. He kickstarted his DJ academy in 2017 called Luckystar Academy then released a mixtape titled “Focus Moves” and so much more.
